Extreme CCTV vandal-resistant IR illuminator domes are designed to provide award-winning infrared illumination from a housing resistant to even the most brutal attacks. Delivering up to 40 feet illumination, each dome installs quickly and easily onto ceilings and walls with conduit compatibility available on
select models.
Each Extreme CCTV dome infrared illuminator contains 42 high-performance LEDs mounted to a heat-sinking double-gimbal that can be easily adjusted to point in the desired direction. An adjustable photocell ensures accurate on/off switching. The infrared is also intensityadjustable so that the optimal level of illumination may be selected. The IR domes are ideal for infrared enhancement of dark areas in restaurants, nightclubs, warehouses and wherever video surveillance requires night-time performance under covert or semi-covert conditions.
The domes features base construction of CNC-milled anodised aluminum, the same material used to protect satellites from the severe environments of outer space. Anodised aluminum is an incredibly durable material with high corrosion resistance and heat-resistant to over 1,200º F. Unlike other finishes, anodised aluminum has astounding chemical stability and will resist changes to color or appearance, even under heavy exposure to ultraviolet rays. The one-piece CNC fabrication process ensures the highest degree of precision and unyielding mechanical strength. Every enclosure is hammer tough and weather tight.
EX46, EX47, EX48 and EX49 are all specified for performance in temperatures ranging from -50ºC to +60ºC (-58ºF to +140ºF) and certified for safe, legal installs.
